Pre-configured templates within the Altium environment ensure complete and error-free manufacturing deliverables.

Key Capabilities

Component Synchronization

Bi-directional data exchange automatically synchronizes parts, metadata, and released files, in both directions between Altium and your cloud PLM system.

Flexible Part Creation

With the flexibility to manage parts in either system, you can create new parts and part numbers with automatic updates reflected in both platforms for a unified library.

Centralized Part Library

Regardless of where a part was originally created, either cloud PLM system or Altium 365, engineers can leverage a single search bar to locate all available components.

One-Click Manufacturing Handover

Publish all relevant project data to your cloud PLM system with a single click. Upon publishing data from Altium 365, a structured and accurate ECAD BOM is automatically generated within the PLM tool.

Duro PLM Connector

Unify your electronics development process with the Altium 365 PLM Connector and Duro, a leading cloud-based Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system. This powerful connector ensures real-time data exchange between Altium 365 and Duro, including schematics, PCB layouts, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).  Duro PLM fosters collaboration across teams by providing a centralized platform for managing revisions, change orders, and project documentation.  This translates to faster time-to-market, improved design quality, and reduced production costs.

Frequently Asked Questions

What cloud PLM tools does Altium 365 integrate with?

  • Arena®

  • Duro®

And more are coming...

Arena® and Duro® are federally registered trademarks owned by PTC Inc. and Duro Labs, Inc., respectively. All references to these trademarks are for identification purposes only. Use of these trademarks does not imply any connection, approval, or endorsement by PTC Inc. and Duro Labs, Inc.

Does the cloud PLM connector require an Enterprise license?

If you’re using a cloud PLM and only need out-of-the-box features, you only need the Cloud PLM Connector app on Altium 365.

If your PLM is on-prem or requires customization, please contact our Enterprise team for deployment details and assistance.

Does the cloud PLM connector have a Graphical User Interface (GUI)? If yes, how do you solve compatibility issues across different versions of Altium Designer?

Yes, the integration includes a GUI. Compatibility issues shouldn’t be a concern because most operations are conducted through the web-based user interface on our end, and the processes are incorporated into Altium Designer.

How do I manage part choices and alternative parts in cloud PLM and Altium 365, keeping the databases in sync?

We support Part Choices sync with cloud PLM. Please find more information here. However, the current integration does not support synchronization of alternative parts. We have this feature on our roadmap.

Does Altium 365 include a component library that stores footprints, symbols, and pad stacks?

Yes, Altium 365 features a comprehensive component library that stores all relevant information, including footprints, symbols, and pad stacks. However, we currently do not support transferring this information to cloud PLM systems.

How can I select what data is shown/hidden to our suppliers when releasing data onto the cloud PLM software?

These settings have to be configured on the PLM side. Altium 365 provides data synchronization, but the PLM tool manages what is shown/hidden.
