Customization and Critical Steps

During the creation of a complex Test Procedure, some steps/substep changes might have to be made. For example, you can delete steps, add substeps and use our Move up and Move Down features that allow you to rearrange your test’s steps order as many times as you need.
Moving a step-up/down the procedure
You can also highlight some important steps by marking them as Critical Steps. A Critical Step is a step that is fundamental to the success of the executed test and cannot be overlooked. By marking a Critical Step you will be making sure this step is performed correctly and its output matches certain performance criteria which you can define before the actual testing.
If a critical step fails during the test run, the test engineer will be given a warning and the option to stop the test, since continuing after a critical step failure probably does not make sense.
Note that in the example above step 2 is highlighted as a Critical Step:
